Fitting out or expanding a warehouse does not have to mean paying new prices. Enviro Stock supplies used pallet racking for sale across the UK, along with warehouse shelving, mezzanine flooring, storage cabinets, stillages, storage cages, and bins and totes. It is all sourced from UK businesses clearing warehouse space, relocating, or disposing of surplus assets.
Stock Coming Soon
Where our stock comes from is what sets this category apart. It arrives from UK businesses clearing warehouse space, relocating premises, or disposing of surplus assets, rather than from a racking dealership holding permanent stock. That means real equipment in usable condition at below-new cost, which suits buyers who want to fit out or expand their storage while keeping capital expenditure down.
Buyers who source here tend to know what they need before they commit. Warehouses, logistics operations, manufacturing facilities, and retail stockrooms all reach a point where they are adding capacity or reconfiguring space, and used racking is a practical way to do that without paying full trade rates. These are considered purchases, so the more you can assess before buying, the better. Each lot is graded and listed clearly, and you can see how we grade stock before deciding whether a lot fits your operation.
The category covers the full range of static storage: selective pallet racking, wide-span and longspan shelving, mezzanine flooring, storage cabinets, stillages, storage cages, and storage bins and totes. Buyers fitting out or expanding can also browse our wider industrial assets range, and trade buyers often source surplus tools and hardware alongside their storage. For forklifts, see our Forklifts category, and for pallet trucks, stackers, and other warehouse handling equipment, see our Warehouse Equipment category.

Before installing second-hand racking, confirm the frames and beams are from the same manufacturer and establish the safe working load.
The Storage Equipment Manufacturers' Association (SEMA) is the UK industry body that publishes guidance on the safe use of pallet racking, including load ratings, inspection frequency, and damage classification. Safe working load simply means the maximum weight a system is rated to carry as configured. A racking system should carry a rack load notice displaying that figure, and once installed, racking should be used and inspected in line with HSE guidance on warehousing and storage, HSG76. Where a lot includes the original load notice, we will note it. Where it does not, SEMA guidance is that the system should be assessed by a SEMA-registered rack inspector before it is loaded.
Compatibility is the check buyers most often overlook. Beams and frames from different manufacturers should not be mixed unless the manufacturer or a qualified installer has confirmed the connector profiles are compatible, because mixing them creates a structural risk. When buying a used lot, confirm the frames and beams match the brand already installed.
Because each lot is graded, you can review condition detail through our grading process and decide whether to arrange an independent inspection before committing.
Yes, provided the components have been inspected for structural integrity, the load data is known or obtainable, and the system is installed correctly. SEMA publishes guidance on safe racking use and damage classification, and racking in a working environment should be inspected regularly by a competent person in line with HSE guidance on pallet racking. Buying from a graded lot means you can review condition detail before committing. See how we grade stock for more on how condition is assessed.
Not unless the manufacturer or a qualified installer has confirmed the profiles are compatible. Different brands use different connector profiles, and mixing them creates a structural risk. Where you are expanding an existing system, match the brand to what is already installed.
